For the past years I have watched you,
Hid my pride and learnt your ways,
Seen what you see,
Felt what you feel and even shared your pain.
Son, live your life like each day you have a breath less,
Settle for nothing less,
And always be the best at what you do.
With all the least pride,
Turn whatever you touch into Gold.
Remember! if you say yes to it,
Do it until you run out of breath,
And even then!
Run it over the edge.
Eight years old, I think that's when I touched you first,
So upset I was; I couldn't help my thirst.
The thirst to teach you a lesson,
To set you straight in this untaught world.
Always say less when ever you have the chance to,
For the less you say, the more you listen,
The more you listen, you learn,
The more you learn, the more you know,
And the less you will forget!
Talk and you will forget,
See and you will remember,
Involve yourself; try, and you will understand,
For if you understand, you can change the world from the root.
All my life I have tried to make you come out on top,
To not be a cliché, but to give it a new meaning.
Live with passion,
For everything you do with passion and heart will be perfect!
Above all, know your God,
The one who's grace sees no wrong,
But the right that dwells within you,
The one who wrote you into this world,
And gave you those beautiful eyes,
The one who has already seen your days,
And is waiting for you on the other side.
Take no chances letting him go!
For there is a Peace in the presence of God,
Immeasurable to anything,
Live with the peace of the Lord,
And let his love dwell in your heart,
So that it may flow out of you like a river,
And touch the lives of those that surround you.

For the only thing so true to you and those around you,
