Phantom Loss

I had a naughty dream last night
Your mouth was warm and soft
And stirred hot lava swirls down deep
And earthquakes at the surface
And Roman Candles in the sky.
And then you were gone
And I was bereft
Because I had no chance
To swirl your lava
Or move your earth
Or light up your night sky.
And then I awoke alone.

With a dream like that there can be no loss. Sounded realistic enough for most people :)

At least , you woke with a smile. That was radiant - those who saw you wearing that secret smile - you showed all day - will never know why - their mind wrote their own story ;)

you caught the beauty and ache of such dreams vividly.

maybe it's time to visit the laundromat, hang around the yoo-hoo machine?
