I'M THINKING TO MUCH!

Howe many times I regret THINKING
I can say just how many times
That I regret that that I - THINK
It is true what some once said
To me:
'' You THINK - to much ''
No truer words ever said about me

I looked back at Finnegan's Wake, and why I think of it when I read your words, and "how/howe" they are so often altered from the norm. And I reread the first line: "riverun, past Eve and Adam's, from swerve of shore to bend of bay, brings us by commodius vicus of recirculation back to Howth Castle and Environs." And I reread the last line, which leads you back into the first in an endless circle: "End here. Us then. Finn again! Take. Bussoftlhee, mememormee! Till thousendthee. Lps. The keys to. Given! A way a lone a last a loved a long the" Then you're supposed to start over at the beginning of the book, if you are a crazy person with no real life to maintain. A little FW goes a long way. A long, lone way a last a loved a long... Anyway, you're words take me out of the little boxes of words, and make me see words as flexible nexuses in a web of meaning. Am I rambling incoherently? A little FW goes a long way, early in the day, like I said, or never said, very well.

Thinking is fun though. Your word plays, intentional or not, make me think. For instance, "Howe" made me think of "how," General Howe, and James Howe (author of such classics as Bunnicula and The Celery Stalks at Midnight) all at once. Lots of meaning packed into a small space, to be folded and unfolded and thought about. I enjoy that about your writing. And I like that you kept "Wordsmith" in your title.
