january pines seasonally
snow covered
crows and magpies blacked and whited the scape
february blistered
then passed
celebrating only two-two and love on the fourteenth
march disappointed
music
from interior spaces was dull, even brown
april was choreographed
by alvin ailey
and dance we did to the tune of finally
may was a quiet blessing
long walks
long talks, deep affection, two (she said) as one
june came with a stretch
and a yawn
a sense of ennui and inevitability
