Uncertainty

abscense of truth

abscense of lies

thin ice
spread over unborn fire

(unable to move
at any direction)

beyond a whispering anxiety
weaving its uncertainty;

your untold eyes -

a discernible landmark
and a beacon

or

an ignis fatuus
over abyssal water?

This has a lot of depth, I love reading and feeling the emotions in this poem.

I love all the images that you explored, the variations of what uncertainty is or does. The line, "thin ice
spread over unborn fire" is my favorite. This is thought-filled and so am I as a result of reading this excellent poem. Kathy
