My season anytime release
With many choices at my command
There’s no reason not to find peace
The east where I find myself
Leaves me safe from all I see
I don’t control what showers come down
I don’t turn away, I just agree
What’s made my journey quite easy
Are days where I would view
Mountain ranges glisten from showers
A symbol to the likeness of you
In the winter I find peace
In the spring I hear your call
I prepare myself in the summer
For the gentle relief in fall
Where the rain is most prominent
And leaves fall off all the trees
I enjoy it with moonset shadows
And wandering seaside breeze
Why the rain is my essence
Is for one reason only
I know as long as it rains
I will never feel just lonely
For all of the rains imperfections
Match my problems just the same
For I can hear your voice calling
In the thunder of the rain
I’m a force to be reckoned with
The rain that soothes my soul
The weather controls my essence
While you control my goals
