Confusion

I am myself twice removed,

ill fitting,

misplaced

displaced

and

in the wrong life,

turning discovery inside out

where was I going when I came back?

Love the dreamy yet streamlined nature of this poem. "Confusion," yet it resonated with something everyone can relate to.

one trick pony The PoetBay support member heart!
when life becomes solitary confinement, it is time to let go of everything to live a life of the mind. in that way nothing can be taken away, lost, only gained, and the confusion becomes still waters. so i think.

this poem is one the verge of letting go. it's excellent in every way.
