inspired by a story my spanish teacher told me about a friend of hers who remodeled a house with her husband, a house which her husband had already owned for some time, and the transformation that they made with the house.


the house of love

a house is not always a home,
though as immaculately designed
as it may be:
a home needs love,
needs companionship,
needs family;
and the two of you have built this
together

through strong will
and hard work,
your dreams
will be designed
from the floor up
by your own hand
