just a poem about a beautiful starry night.

Twinkling Stars

Twinkling stars
more than a million
of them
Light up the night sky
Twinkling stars
dominate the darkness
Twinkling stars
Close together
So far away
Twinkling stars
crowd themselves
around the moon
Twinkling stars
Twinkling stars
Twinkle
Twinkle
Twinkling stars
twinkle for mankind
twinkle for the world
below watching them
Twinkling stars
fully alive
fully awake!

How I love a starry night, too much light pollution here in London. There are there for everyone, as your line says, "twinkle for mankind" an enjoyable, uplifting poem.
