Blue Van Gogh

One day when I was feeling blue

I bought some irises for you;

I tried to hang them on your wall

But every time I did, they’d fall.

If you can find a better way

To hang them, then they might just stay;

Some decent hardware might be key,

But that’s not really up to me;

I’m realizing, tho it’s tough,

I’ve overstepped my bounds enough.

Please point that out the next time when

I overstep them once again.

Just looked at the Van Gogh pic of irises, a joy, thanks!

Much enjoyed, lovely to read some rhyming poetry. I love blue iris, I have some growing in my pond.

Dear Nancy,

Beauty is in the eye, nay, the iris of the beholder and this piece is BEAUTIFUL!

Cheers, Chris

the blue iris is the symbol of faith and hope,
and i would add generosity.
