I saw you standing on main street

I saw you standing on main street
bleeding just enough
to prove to the world
that fire is your name now
in a dead dark confusion

there is an empty sadness
doing ring around the roses
pale skin peeling
at the touch of needles
falling in brutal showers

you walk electric brain
you die to taste
the end of any day
there is nothing more to say
nothing left to do

Brilliant as always. Again the word combinations are staggering. You bring together words from different worlds but make them work. Like "Electric brain"and "brutal showers". You are a master.

Ring around the roses...

This is so powerful to me personally. I am a mother of the one standing on Main Street.
You have brought a scene to life.
Each line pounds throughout my being.

We all fall down.

I feel this, a visceral pain of beautiful writing.
