Your present absence
Although you are so sorely missed,
your presence is a case of omnipresence
in your absence, since it's almost palpable
in the ethereal substance of your essence,
as the presence of your being overwhelms my mind
the more for your so hopeless distance.
I am paralyzed by being lost without you,
and yet you are still so close and present
ever in my life and mind and alien existence
as if you could never exit my heart's residence,
although no one is more free of me than you.
It is a paradox in more than one sense
as it all all ends up in something of a sentence
that I'll never do without you for your absence.
