As long as it is standing

For falsehoods, distortion and deceit
fear repentance, shame, and regret

If the wall is not defended
its foundation shallow built
The freedom it holds for all mankind

then set it deep within
Use bricks of knowledge and unyielding faith
To protect the freedom truth has been

Very powerful statement regarding the truth of TRUTH. Poets should herald the truth if they do nothing else. You have done so with a artist's heart creating images that teach and tell the story so vividly.
