My Keyboard Feels Abused

My keyboard feels abused.

I pound on it daily, yet it transcribes my thoughts with near perfect accuracy at the cost of its own well being.
First one key, and then another, and another; before long it's difficult to determine whether I'm typing or throwing punches.

My keyboard resents my monitor.

Every moment I spend beating on the keys, I'm staring into her bright and beautiful eye. I admire her, I watch her, I take great care to ensure that nothing ever touches her, and when I think she has made a mistake it's my keyboard who erases her scars.

My keyboard despises my mouse.

"Really, you're giving it a backrub? Really? Five thousand words later and the mouse gets a massage. Typical. Just typical. You know what..."

My keyboard feels abused.

Oh, how sweet, to be so personal. After all, what do we touch so much more with out finger tips than our keyboards? This is a very delightful and unique view of the inanimate object, our very personal keyboards! I love the idea. Now I'm thinking of naming mine. Or, has he already named me? eeek. :)
