My Juicy Peach, Madison Ann-Marie Carter, turns six on Tuesday, May 16, 2006! The world should celebrate so I am letting some of you know.

Madison, My Juicy Peach

Madison my sweet granddaughter
today you turn six.
You have been in my heart
before I saw your face
or I knew your gender,
or your name,
or that you had big blue eyes.
Madison Ann-Marie,
you are my Juicy Peach,
you are the brightness
that lights a pathway
to happiness.

Madison I was there
and saw you come into this world.
You didn't know it, but the world
stopped turning and looked at you
and smiled.

I love your beautiful smile
that can cause the sun to rest.
I love your sparkling sapphire blue eyes
that make diamonds hide in shame.
I love your perfect nose turned up
just so and that rests perfectly between
your kissable cheeks.
I love your laughter, your giggles,
your teasing ways.
I love your independence, your intelligence,
and, your tender sweetness of heart.

Madison you are my hearts desire.
I will love you for the rest of my days
and throughout eternity.

Come here and give your Nana
a big hug and kiss, because I haven't had
one since you turned six.
