Vindicated Victory!!

how the mighty will stumble
over the mountainous
heart wrenching turmoil
to find a triumphant victory.
In the eyes of those on
high, watch down
casting judgment over us
with malcontent, and
scrutiny.
woe are those who
seek the light and
only find the silver
lining, fooled by its
gleam, content to stay
in the outer edge
of eternity
mercy me,
oh worthy ones
mercy me,
oh chosen ones
redeem me,
oh righteous ones
turn your cheek
and run, for
your solitude is
your only guard
Darkness falls from
every corner, watch
the mighty stumble
and surrender,
to regain what was
stolen in sweet slumber
the righteous are pious
judgmental souls
who care not for those
otherwise unequal
this is our sweet
victory, blood sacrifice
and succumb to me,
the winning side is
calling out,
tempting me,
and i will shout
about the hills
for our vindicated
victory!!
