I am awake,
In the night.
I should be asleep.
But something,
Is pulling on me.
I am awake,
In the night,
I listen and hear,
Nothing.
A soft wind,
Over my skin.
Thoughts,
Come in.
As I dream,
Away,
To the land,
To the sea,
To the horizon,
Where I have,
Never been.
I feel the touch,
I feel the embrace.
I wake up,
With tears,
On my face.
