Ancestors

Let it be a comfort to you
that your dear departed ones
are never really dead
and never really left you
since they never have abandoned you
but always will be there
and more alive than ever
and the more so since you are alone with them
and you will know them best
as only knowing them by feeling them
and therefore being in close contact
with their very souls
which never can be left alone
and never can leave you alone
since you are one of them
and the more so for your contact with them,
which is called the intimacy of eternity.
There are no ghosts, there are no dead ones,
all you knew are still alive
and kicking more than ever for their spirituality
and will remain alive as long as you.

Great comment, Ken. I guess we all have something in common by our ancestors - the legacy of piety.

I am who I am due to my Ancestors
My father shared with me his,
my family History. Most important
my great Irish Grandmother.
Who insured, family violence, ended.
There are other significant ancestor's.
Great Grany Williams, made them so.
They live on in my mind and in my writings
Ken :) ;)
