The ultimate betrayal
Whatever you do, never let down your ideals.
If others fail you or betray you,
just let them go down the drain
as they see fit by choosing for themselves,
but you have nothing to do with their negativism,
and you always have your own way left to go
unhesitatingly, as your ideals is your vocation.
If you let them down you fail yourself
and have forfeited your own worth in life,
its meaning, your integrity, and are a traitor to yourself,
while your ideals will always keep you going
through all martyrdoms and shipwrecks and adversities,
and as you die you still will have them left
to pursue even beyond life into eternity.
