I usually write songs as I play guitar, or to be more accurate I sing them and never write them down....wrote this one without guitar and posting it as a poem...or song ...


Blues in The Morning

Well I woke up this mornin and I was feeling Pretty good
Yeah I woke up this morning and I was feeling pretty good
Looked out my window and surveyed my neighbourhood
Well the sky was tinged with sorrow come and take my blues away
Oh the sky was tinged with sorrow please take my blues away
Because I woke up this morning and its gonna be a beautiful day
Well Im sitting in my backyard hot coffee near to hand
Oh Im sitting in my backyard drinking hot coffee and its grand
I pick up my guitar and play just like Im in a rock and Roll band
12 bar blues in the morning and 12 bar blues at night
Lord 12 bar blues in the morning and then play them again at night
This is the perfect way to chase the blues away and make me feel allright.

I like it as a song, and I could hear you singing it. I think you are going to do all right as a songwriter. Yesterday was such a sad day that I found these lines very appropriate:
"Looked out my window and surveyed my neighbourhood
