Some might say this prompted by the weather...in truth it was reading Ken D Williams poem

My dream today

To dream today as Im surrounded by snow of sunlit meadows of fields all aglow
Of skies so blue they shimmer and shout
To lie with eyes closed the sun on my face whilst birds sing and insects they race
Apart from these sound the silence is great but I can hear buzzing as bees go on their way
These are the days I remember from my past
As we sit and suffer from Winters Arctic Blast
I cant wait for the days to grow longer
For this Winter to pass
To eat out of doors to laugh at the past
Where we sat huddled and thought Winter had passed....but no the Beast from the East had the last laugh
