Clouds pass across my heart,
I see them on the outside
shadows undulating
I feel them on the inside,
sometimes it rains.

Sometimes it does, indeed, rain. And I can see the undulating shadows, and feel the cold droplets. Something about this just engages me completely. The simplicity of the last line, the matter of fact way you state it, sums it up perfectly. Lovely write, shells!

A beautiful metaphoric poem. Clouds, shadows, and rain do happen, and sometimes they must to allow for sunshine.
