To Sister, This Heartfelt Sonnet of Love

Dear, Charles, and Mom; all three,
a part of my life forever: I love
you all! But this sonnet is writ for thee,
and for thee alone: for you are, above
all, my sibling Achates,—bosom friend
in my life and help in my poverty
(and suffering). You are my childhood's Godsend.
I know not the veiled wherefore or the why
of my sad, joyless life; but, that nevermore
can I be the one to whom you have aspired,
the one to inspire you as in times before,
you well know (because my spirit was expired).
So, because of your precious love for me,
heaven's a place, I know, prepared for thee.

The poet has given an affectionate confession
Over his sister having given him financial concession
I am moved very much by his frank expression
As she has offered him kindly monetary cushion
His appreciation via a poem is a noble recognition
And he openly makes kindly a frank admission
In this World with all having a selfish emotion
Coming across such a sister gives great jubilation
May God always sustain this relation with affection
And help in peace promotion with a merciful decision!
