birthday wishes
always happy to wish you
spring is here
i wrote these yesterday night past midnight
twinkle in your eyes,
and wrinkles around them
rather lots
(just this much makes me immensely happy
but as I always want more
here are some more for you)
I wish for you
lucky lips,
with a curve of smile on them
(this I wish for you always)
I wish for you
bounty of the treasures
that you will hunt;
aroma of the flowers
that you have planted;
sweetsour savour of the fruits
that you have grown.
And as you move to unwrap these
a few tickles
even birthday bumps
to surprise you;
And darling,
as your peals of laughter
resound and echo
May
All the wishes rain on you
as gifts
with the grace of the Lord
and love of everyone you know.
