On the Gift of One's Dear Time

Geniuses are rare, a kind
unto themselves who are led by God's
inspiration and divine powers of mind
which transcend the odds.
Some, like Keats, possess gifts of poetry;
others, like Mozart, musical composition;
some achieve feats of creativity
that quicken the mentally dull and blind.
The gifts of genius are tools,
and some are bestowed by the Nine Muses
to write epics and poems to exalt life's fools,
to elevate them to more ennobled uses.
So, if one's genius be not in this rhyme,
then give the greater gift of one's dear time.

This is well-crafted. I mostly enjoyed the turn, the volta, in the concluding couplet. That was touche!
