PoetBay People: Stan Cooper & Don Hunt (Toonist)

For a number of years, some years ago now, there were two elderly gentlemen who were members of PoetBay.  Their names were Stan Cooper, and Don Hunt (Toonist).

Together, they would pair up their creativity :  Stan would write poems, and Don supplied his cartoons.  These gentlemen brought a lot of joy, many smiles, and a boatload of kindness to everyone on the site.

Many of us will remember them, but for those of you who didn't have the opportunity to get to know them, I would like to introduce them to you.

Although they are no longer with us on PoetBay (Stan sadly passed away in 2016/  We haven't heard anything from Don in a long time), and they're sorely missed, their creations live on beyond their presence, and they are still available for everyone's enjoyment.

A little tribute and remembrance for two wonderful people who were a big part of our community at one time.  They are among PoetBay's good times memories.

Enjoy!

I remember them both well and miss them. It was always a delight to read and check out the matching cartoon, an absolute pleasure. I will certainly enjoy revisiting their pages, thank you.

Should our Toonist still about. Remember Twain: ' Reports of my demise are greatly exaggerated!. '
Two of great members both of them.
