BEING HUNGREY GOING HUNGREY

Bills to pay
Exciting on
My pit penshan
Having to put
Bills first
Fridge & shelfs empty
Armchairs & sofer long since given up out that had slipt down
Head down looking for coppers
Dropt or cast way on to the ground
Hopping to add to my dash of found
Checking phone box for forgotten change left
One time in telephone box a large pack of salted peanuts
With accumulated coins off to find reduced prices of bread &co
At supermarkets - maybe anuff for a tin of baked beans
Mate I'd never met in flesh - got to know of my plite
Three times he arranged for a food delivery
Only those who been there can understand

That’s a nasty place to be Ken. You describe it very succinctly . Stay safe my friend
