APPROACHING SPRING

The approaching Spring
Day lights up earlyaer
By the hour lengthens each morning now
The sun creeping encouraging
Me to open my eyelids - touch carpet
Throw off the nights coverings
Be about the the day
Bulbs of hope ready to outburst expectations to flower
First jab done awaiting second jab so be dusted
Life looking good at long last
