Conversion
When for reasons
I fail to recall
Uncle Bill felt the need
To inform that two of the family
His family that is
Had wed Jewish folk
Uncle Bill look embarrassed as told me this
So I can claim Jewish ethnicity through my mothers line
Now Bills family especially uncle Bill
Committed to the catholic religion

Made up by my many parts
Very mixed ethnicity
I'm two parts Irish
South & North
Part Welsh - North
And also two part Jewish!
Further in my DNA - of course
I have the DNA of a
Kenyan Pygmy Mother who migrated
My pigment over time became beige
So I smile - what part of me
Are they goner - persecute
