A homage to nursery rhymes.

Bee lines

I was pleased to see
My first bumble bee
Today,
It buzzed by me.
What it said I cannot
Say,
But I saw it and it
Saw me,
The first Spring
Bumble bee.

O, what fun!

Bees are our friends. They rarely menace--
though once, a reckless sort named Dennis
poked at a hive with a sharp stick:
he learned his lesson mighty quick.

Bees gad about from petal to petal
to show that Spring's in finest fettle--
and they spread rumours (yes, they does!)
--none better to create a buzz.
