Trial medications are a mixed benison.

Attack From Within

They look like unearthed samian chards

Lozenge shaped ominously occult

Once daily consumed with due regard

For failure to will skew the result

Their shells concocted for timed decay

Assuring a six hour quiet hiatus

The end of which their drugs display

Their side effects quite noxious

Experimental in pharmacology

Yet unmuted as to side effects

Tough bastards bent of felony

Attacking guts unwanted guests

Stomach roils intestines cast

Enraged at this toxic invasion

Contents boil and empty fast

To be free of this aggression

As the violence proceeds

The benefice is thus implanted

To work to kill the noxious seeds

Within the host they have adopted

This poem is perfectly controlled in terms of form and content. It reminds me a fine horseman on a stallion, containing that which does not want to be contained.
