Some Things
Remembering the way some things endFalling asleep, closing your eyes, falling into reverie faraway
Heartbeats timing to the waves of words someone once had to say
Keeping hidden awful secrets that were buried deep never meant to be heard,
Still he heard her, all the words were wonderfully wounding always so sounding
Beautifully deep to the core, and yet
Dreaming alone keep me once more, forget
About how easy it is to pretend
Remembering the way some things end . . .
