a terza rima
I find the 11 syllable count to be challenging, but I liked the thought in this one.

Melody on the breeze

As gentle breezes blow through fields of tall wheat,
a melody rides calmly in the wind’s path
and brings soft harmony to each ensuing beat.

This music, spreading through the world, which hath
not yet awoken from its drifting dream state,
now guides my slumber down a curious path.

I drift twixt waking and sleeping and await
nature’s counterpoint, ever expanding out,
growing together, and blooming into fate.

I rise from dreaming, lift paw, and raise my snout,
catch the tune in my mouth, carry it throughout.

Lady Courtaire
Love this, especially the unanticipated (and delightful) turn at the end. You've done wonders with a difficult form.
