When life seemed to get better,
Little did I know.
What the future would hold.
WISH COME TRUE
When I was a boy,
I wished I was a man.
Now I am a man,
A boy no more I am.
I used to play on swings,
Climbing trees and other things.
Now I am a man,
A boy no more I am.
Married now with children two,
Days to play seem to few.
Now I am a man,
A boy no more I am.
One son's gone, Flown the nest,
So I'm told for the best.
Sometimes I hate being a man,
A boy no more I am.
Other son's grown not alone,
Married now wife of his own.
Now I am a man,
A boy no more I am.
Now that time has flown,
Gained a daughter, grandson too.
A boy no more I am,
Now I'm glad I am a man.
