Humankind

Here I go again,
meandering thoughts.
That makes me drained,
no real time to explain

Nighttime has,
Come around again.
Beetles and birds
Are in their beds

The rain has washed,
The world tonight.
Here's hoping humankind,
will treat it right.

It feels to me to be a sin
When they don't realise
The fragility of the world
That we all live in

It gives us joys,
We give it sorrow.
Why not drop the bombs,
That way we can live our days,
Not worrying about tomorrow's.
