I want to be unobtrusively yours,

in the place where my head

lies, just where the heart beats

and the heat of us imbues

and love transcends.

I want to be the

motion and the stillness,

the crunch of steps

in winter chill and

the splash of sun

on a windswept day.

Unobtrusive I will slip

be the smile on a lip,

the dream in the eye

and the sigh

that escapes

just after

the final kiss.

Chaucer Whethers The PoetBay support member heart!
You've really a high bar of writing in this genre, bravo, much appreciated.

It is the delicate understatement that shouts love and beauty.

Lawrence Beck The PoetBay support member heart!
Barely perceptible, deeply appreciated.
