UNCONSCIOUS THOUGHTS

Wasn't someone called ford ,
A president of the United States.
Also I liked the car's he makes.
Or was it someone else,
Who invented mousetraps.

To catch a mouse,
While sitting down.
Eating cheese his Savoir-faire,
Just think none of this
would have been possible;
If someone hadn't invented chairs.

Before Shakespeare said it,
There were no upstairs or down.
I often wonder did everybody live
On solid ground,
Or is this as  silly as it sounds.

And so have my thoughts have wandered for so many years. It's such a pleasure to be reading them in your poem. No one can fashion it just the way that you do. Thanks for sharing. /Rik.
