Be careful ordering shots in a wild wild west bar

Be careful ordering shots,
In a wild west bar.
Why was the west so wild?
A stillness came,
From a gunslinger unnamed.
Who went into a bar,
Ordered a few shots.
Those shots were all he'd gotten,
I know that sounds rotten.
Because nobody new his name.
As for why the wild west was wild?
Nobody knew, nuff said.

As for who wrote this.
This was written by a nobody,
Striving to be a somebody.
From the depths of a nobodys mind.
We can definitely say,
Nobodys seen this before.

I even heard the word on the street,
The gunslinger goat from out west.
( Known as Billy the kid )
That was shot in his chest,
Had tattooed on his vest.
( That read )
Nobody was faster than he.

The reason the west was notoriously wild, was because of a lawless economy during a booming Gold Rush during that era... I enjoyed reading, Alan, especially that last stanza, which in my opinion, is the strongest and I liked the word play with incorporating the word "goat" with the famous gunslinger known as Billy the Kid. Clever with a moral message: crime doesn't pay.....just ask Billy.
