The Sanctity of Boredom
They say that boredom is a luxury
and even something of a privilege,
since if you have the capability of feeling bored
you have a qualified detachment from reality,
which actually makes boredom something of a sanity;
and if you reach that far in reasoning about it,
your next step will be to fill the vacuum of boredom
with activity of any kind and even just of mental stuff,
and thus your boredom is transformed into energy,
which actually is a moral power
that could practically be applied constructively
to only positive and beneficial ends.
Is this just nonsense or does it make any sense?
That is another matter of discussion
for expanding the philosophy of boredom.
