WHO'S TO BLAME?

Have you ever thought then stopped;

My mind does it all the time,
Random thoughts migrating from my head.

Mainly about this and that;
If my world of words gets it wrong,
I'll blame it on the cat.

I bought the daughter in law a cup
Also without retribution or fear.
A torch to shine in her ears,
You should see her eyes light up.
