I know
you know the words,
just say them out loud.
"I love you",
say it while you squeeze my hand
and stop the ticking of the clock,
stop time itself
dead in its tracks.

Your eyes,
so beautiful, burning with a love
I never knew existed.
This moment lives and breathes
in a bubble of its own, even though
we will never meet,
so say the words,
say them out loud, please.
