In our wet spring, it is good to see the daffodils emerging

I thought our were late here too. Honestly, the daffodil and the snowdrop, two of my favourite flowers, so delicate yet so resilient

Love a good Haiku and love daffodils, such "happy" flowers.

I usually don't like haikus, but this one succeeds. It says all that needs to be said, and does so artfully. Well done, Dougie.

I like this very much.
And - forgive me for my verbosity - it is very poignant for me, this, Dougie. It reminded me immediately of the last stanza of something I wrote ("Another Line In The Sand") in which I penned:

See, there were spindly daffodils
Growing on brake dust sprinkled verges
That I would likely never pass again.

Yesterday was my mother's deathday, so those words were very much in my mind. (Also my father's birthday.)
Blessings, Allen
