INTRODUCTION TO LIFE PART FOUR

Thin walls terraced house,
New neighbour deaf as a post.
During the day liked listening,
To Henry Mancini and faust.

Living here was never quite
but nice,
Used to see wife's mum
Nearly everyday.
As she lived across the way.

Wife became a mum,
While I became a dad.
I think that was the most,
Fun we had having two boys.

One night the noise I couldn't stand,
Reverberating through the chimney.
Told next door politely he'd left something on,
He told me to piss off then slammed
The door. The neighbour the other side
told me he'd heard it before.

Woke the wife she couldn't hear a sound,
She got dressed and knocked on the door.
Me keeping a careful eye, The wife found
The noise. There in a cupboard humming
away, Was a hoover switched on plugged
into the mains all day. He said he must
have forgotten to turn it off when he
put it away.
