silent, uncomplicated
truth is like no other
brazen, compelling blasts
lies always in our faces
open doors swinging on
rusty hinges raking still
run past perfunctory pain
gathering scattered winds
flavour of water slurps thru
thoroughly fair despair
along winding thoroughfare
of days that are yet to be
