To Alan J. Ripley

echo for a worried man

"Echo for a Worried Man"

Though memory fades like a distant tide,

Your heart still beats with a steady guide.

Love's tether holds through the shifting haze,

A bride's warm smile lights forgotten days.

Each step you take, though shadows remain,

Is carved with courage through loss and strain.

In your words, a flame persists, so real,

A voice reaching out for strength to heal.

You are here, still whole, and worth every mile.
