The iborious humorous plant,
Also known as the Cary bean root.
Coveted by witches during the witching hour,
Is not to be laughed at. It doesn't like it.

THE IBORIOUS HUMOROUS PLANT

Today I read a unreadable book,
Took longer than I expected it should.
Being dyslexic I found that I could!
On how to make a nonpoisonous soup,
From the flowers of the Cary bean root.

The Cary bean flower is a strange looking
slime green, Covered in pulsating spots.
It's more like a weed than a flower.
It only turns edible at one time of year,
That's during the witching hour.
It looks lovely to witches, When it bursts
It's spots and Comes out to flower.

But if you mix it with a brew,
Whoever drinks it will do.
whatever you tell them to,
It's a veritable witches delight.
Which is why hobgoblins and trolls,
Dance round them at midnight.

It's highly insidiously toxicologically,
Poisonous at any other time of the year.
For being a wickedly witching plant,
Never try to pick one if you find one
near, At the edge of a forest or road.

You may find if you're pricked,
By one of its slime green thorns.
You may live out the rest of your
Hours, And days as a poisonous toad.
On one of the spots, ready to burst.
On the back of a Cary bean flower.
