INNER CHILD

There's an inner child,
Inside all of us.
Mine is locked in a cupboard,
Huddled up in the corner.
Waiting to be let out,
Hiding from the world.
Afraid to talk ( nobody listens).
Hoping that when his door opens,
The world will still be there.
