Dear Bird

O dear bird
you fly in daily
To metamorphose
my days into moments.

You carry some idleness
for me as well
while you remain busy.

And O dear one
While you live in no
awareness of me
Sighting you at any
point of time is pure

For right before me
you pour play into
these idle moments
that you carry.

After traveling a few of your poems, I realize they should be considered together, not just one by one - for me to really be transposed into your atmosphere. Each poem is a sketch of a place in space, and together they open a sphere, a life, that I breathe fresh air in; a world where I feel light and breezy; a universe where more is possible than I thought!

Intuition tells me the dear bird knows she's being watched, that she comes to please you.

By pleasing you she pleases herself~~~

Fanciful? Perhaps.

What drives your enjambment? Your line choices?

How do you decide how many words in a line? Is it purely based on rhythm? Thats what I read.

It works! Good poem
