MET THIS MAN (Additans)
Some years ago in a cafe
I saw this man in
A wheelchair
He had just the
One leg
There were others
There by now
We all got to talking
The wheelchair-bound man
Were quite cheery all the same
Told us 'my brother has also lost his left leg '
'That is handy', as I have no right leg'
'So we only need to pay for just one pair of shoes!'
'So we are sorted!'; he smiled & he laughed
As did we with old lad
At such times we can choose
We can laugh or we can cry
The like-minded choose to laugh
