I guess it's a typical romantic poem....

Say you love me

Do you love me?
I ask because I want to know
If this mask changed
Would you still love with the fervency you do now?
If visions of beauty ceased to pass before you
Would your kisses still belong to me?
If showers of praises no longer escaped my lips
Would your eyes still shine for me?
If flowery words of lovers' bliss weren't put on paper
Would I still mean the world to you?

Tell me only that you love me
WIth a love that is pure and unmoving
Never fleeting or unsure
But even if it were not so
My love,
My life,
My soul,
I would love you
"TIll the passing of this world.

Not really a typical romantic poem I think - typically, romantic poems glorify the love of your life....lololol.
Still, a beautifully written poem full of the first feverish romance...
Welcome to the bay again!
